PMB007: First Lady of the Hammond, Ethel Smith (21/11/2010)

On the show this week we celebrate the imminent 100th anniversary of birth of the First Lady of the Hammond Organ, Ethel Smith. We also have some fabulous retro-futuristic radiophonic pop from the Monroeville Music Center as well as a couple from a new compilation of spaced-out disco from across the gamut of European library music labels - and some nerdcore.

In addition to the music, MC Zirconium may or may not be telling us about talking plants, UFOs landing in Brazil and the Colonel's secret recipe.

Wasn't the Merry Ocarina performed by Noseybonk's parents? I think it was.

This was the first time I've listened to your 'Podcast and I enjoyed it immensely. I'll be seeing you on the Twitter, and tuning in weekly from now on.
