PMB044 Forty Four (Sesame Street, Schoolhouse Rock, Jean-Jacques Perrey, Tristram Cary, Raymond Scott, Shawn Lee, DMX Krew, D D Denham)

We're back! Yes, after few weeks regenerating in the Geodesic Lounge, DJ Bongoboy and MC Zirconium are back with you, dear listener.

Since this show is episode FORTY FOUR we thought it only appropriate to dedicate this week's show to the world of numbers. So every track on the show has a numerical theme, mostly in base 10 but bases 2 and 16 do also get a mention. In case you're wondering why numbers are particularly relevant this week, all will become clear as the show unfolds...

We recommend having a pocket calculator to hand, as well as the handy bingo card which accompanies this week's show.

Cassette edition prototype

Cassette edition prototype For the first time we see an actual image of the much anticipated (and possibly never-to-exist) Project Moonbase Special Cassette Edition.

This strictly limited edition, one of a kind collectable, family heirloom and cassette could be yours if the public at large - This means you - can convince us to bring it out of the project moonbase test labs and into the real world. You may be saying to yourself "but Project Moonbase, I do not own a cassette deck." well, this is the perfect reason to correct that obvious oversight. Look at it, just look at it in all it's retro old-time, yesteryear-of-graphic design glory.

Each cassette will be lovingly mopped across DJ Bongoboy's brow, to help infuse it with his musky scent and MC Zirconium will shed a single perfect tear, symbolising his sorrow about being held against his will on the moon.

So let us know if you desire to have this unique treasure/cry-for-help, fill in the handy questionnaire and let your voice be heard.

PMB043 Pills Pills Pills (Alan Lorber, Alan Hawkshaw, Mel Blanc, The Uncle Brothers, Supercute, Nurse With Wound, Wing)

PMB043: Pills Pills PillsTime to tackle another Big Theme on the show this week. Yes, we thought it was high time we tackled the intoxicating world of drugs. This was largely prompted by a rather wonderful new single from teenage sensation SUPERCUTE! which gently mocks the classic anti-drugs song.

We also have tracks from, amongst many others, Alan Lorber, Alan Hawkshaw, The Uncle Brothers, Harry "The Hipster" Gibson, er, Nurse With Wound and, yes, once again a track from Wing! You can also hear what several of the key players in Looney Tunes cartoons have to say on the subject.
